About

Welcome to Ribbit Art

Greetings, they call me Frog. I live and create in the high country of Arizona, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that have been home to Native American tribes for thousands of years. Their artistry—rich with culture, spirit, and daily life—continues to inspire me. Just as past generations inscribed stories onto stone, painted them onto pottery, and wove them into rugs and baskets, I, too, seek to carry these traditions forward.

Each hat I create becomes a canvas to transpose the culture around me into wearable art. I burn designs into felt with fire, layer paint, and embellish with natural and cultural elements—turquoise, arrowheads, feathers, animal leathers, and textiles. These materials come together like stories, each piece unique and alive with meaning, honoring the past while keeping its spirit present.

My creations at Ribbit Art bridge past and present, honoring timeless traditions while offering contemporary expressions that carry a living connection to the Southwest—tradition, story, and spirit—crafted to be worn.
